5 heritage pigs, 5 chefs, 5 local wines = COCHON 555

Can you keep a secret?  My wife bought me VIP tickets to one of the best meat, food and wine festivals on the planet and she thinks I don’t know about it.  I don’t want to spoil the Christmas surprise for her so let’s just keep this between us okay?

The porky goodness and culinary competition does not get any better than Cochon 555 and I can’t wait for February 20th in Seattle!  Five local chefs square off in a snout to tail cook-off of 5 heritage breed pigs and then they pair those offerings with wine from 5 small local wineries.  The VIP part of this day means I get to come early, hobnob with the culinary elite, sample artisans cheeses, slurp up sustainably raised oysters and then wash it all down with more local wine. My mouth is already watering!  Seriously folks, can you think of a better way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon in Seattle?
